I do not have a link as to where The Cunninghams of East Tennessee who settled in Sevier TN and The Great Smoky Mountains, I guess the mountains of East TN reminded the Cunninghams of the mountains in Scotland. I can only personally document back to John Cunningham from Sevier, TN 1803 who married a Jane Doe Rose and had 9 Children and she died, possibly from childbirth after 1843 the last son James Hosea Cunningham was born in 1843. We do know John b 1803 marries a 2nd wife in 1847 Sarah (some say Sadie) Erwin B Sevier TN 1829-1896 and has 9 more children from Dec 1849 Dartus Benjamin Cunningham B Sevier TN - 1865 and John dies but no proven grave for John 1803-aft 1865. HELP APPRECIATED, MORE TO COME

Thank you for the Episode 23 podcast on The Cunningham and Montgomery Feuds. I am Jerry L. Cunningham Sr author of The Cunninghams of East Tennessee contains over 15,000 names of which about 1/3 are Cunninghams by name. I have done 2 DNA tests personally and they show my lineage goes back to Donegal Ireland to James Cunningham 1632- ? and also to Scotland
